The OC PeeWee Ballistics are one of nine OC teams playing in the city tournament this weekend.
Five teams reach semi-finals
Ottawa Centre had a tremendous showing at the City of Ottawa tournament last weekend, with five teams reaching the semi-finals, including the Initiation Red Penguins who lost a tight one 3-2 against the Canterbury Lightning Bolts. The Atom B Titans lost a heartbreaker in the A side semi-final, after beating a team to get there that beat the Titans in the semi-finals of the Bell Capital Cup and went on to win that tournament. The Atom B Gold reached the B side semi-final. The PeeWee C Ice Devils and Bantam C Bombers also reached the A side semi-finals. This weekend, nine more OC teams are in action at the tournament, including the Novice B Ice Breakers and Knights, the Atom C Powershots and Ice Dogs, two midget B teams and the triple-B PeeWee B squads, the Bandits, Ballistics, and Beatles.
