ICEBREAKERS Win the Orleans Atom B Tournament!

The OCMHA Atom B3 Icebreakers put on a defensive stronghold to take home the championship last weekend, as they beat out 5 teams to win the 42nd Annual Orleans Atom B House League Tournament.
Jamie was solid between the pipes with back-to-back shutouts in the playoffs, including stopping all 3 shooters he faced in the overtime shoot-out win in the semi-finals.
The defense was outstanding, containing the opposition, limiting shots and even contributing to the offense. Up front, all three forward lines were equally dangerous and productive. Shift after shift the Icebreaker forwards were a relentless forechecking force executing on the team’s “first-to-the-puck” mentality. They worked the corners well and were rewarded when they crashed the net for rebounds.
Special mention to Adrian, who joined the All-Star game on Sat evening and recorded a hat trick for the visitors in a 9-9 draw.
