Brewer Outdoor Ice - Update Jan 11

We'll resume maintenance this weekend on Sunday night with the assigned crew and weather permitting we will begin practices on Monday as well. We are looking for volunteers to help clear off the snow on Saturday evening. Please contact me at outdoorice@ocmha.ca  if you can help.

Once again the OCMHA is preparing the outdoor ice for another season. In conjunction with the speedskating club, we have prepared a packed surface to begin the flooding processs. To start our flooding and maintenance schedule, volunteers are asked to join us at the Brewer ice shack at 1300 today Friday Dec 29th and tomorrow Saturday Dec 30th at 0900. No special skills are required. All are welcome. Please dress warmly for the conditions. See you there.

If your team wishes to book a weekly slot on the outdoor ice, coordinate a request through your team manager to outdoorice@ocmha.ca. I'll need your team name, 2 options for desired ice time (note: not guaranteed) and the names, phone numbers and email addresses for 3 maintenance volunteers. The maintenance volunteers are respnsible for flooding the night before your practice.
