Postmen Deliver in Russell!

Congratulations to the OC Postmen for winning the Russell Minor Hockey Association Peewee House A tournament.
After posting a solid 2 wins and a tie in round robin play to win their pool, OC faced-off against BMHL rival the SouthEnd Capitals in a thrilling final. Down 1-0 going into the 3rd period, the Postmen demonstrated grit and determination in storming back with 2 goals to win 2-1.
Most importantly a fun weekend was had by players and families alike. Thank you to the Russell Minor Hockey Association and the Russell Warriors for being such great hosts.
A special thank you to all the coaches for giving so much of your time through poor weather conditions on Friday and then through the weekend. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated coaching team. Also a huge thank you to all the parents. So many of you helped to shuttle kids from Ottawa to Russel on Friday and through the weekend - we thank you for everything you did behind the scenes to make sure each player could be a part of it.
