We are pleased to announce the return of our Player Skills Development Clinics. Note that our clinics are open to currently registered OCMHA members only.
Skating and puck handling. Sessions begin Thursday October 7th.
Goalie Clinics are also being planned for this fall - please contact goaliedevelopment@ocmha.ca if you're interested and require more information.
The player clinics will be led by Carl Menard of Competitive Edge Hockey School (twitter @CompEdgeHockey) with a focus on skating and puck handling skills.
This clinic will consist of 6 one hour sessions at Walkley beginning Thursday Oct 7, then every other week (Oct 7, Oct 21, Nov 4, Nov 18, Dec 2 and Dec 16):
We have room for approximately 65 players in total, so the above time split may be adjusted to create balanced groups based on registration numbers, age, and sibling requests.
All Bytown District and OCMHA Covid / Vaccine protocols will be in place and strictly enforced. Full equipment required.
Cost is $130. Our clinics typically sell out quickly, so please register and pay online as soon as possible at < click > (https://sagoto.com/ocmha/clinic).
Based on initial registration numbers, we will assign you to 6:30 or 7:30pm on Oct 7, and then adjust accordingly (see note above).
Carl is ok with up to 5 OCMHA coaches per hour to assist with the drills and take back knowledge to team practices. We also require one certified trainer per hour and volunteers to check in players and parents. Please contact Jay Illingworth (jzissou@gmail.com) or your convener to participate.
