Restarting Hockey in the Coming Weeks
2022-01-01All OC sanctioned events (including practices) have been paused until January 10th.
Hi OCMHA families,
I hope everyone managed to have a happy holiday in spite of everything COVID is throwing at us.
I am writing to provide an update on OCMHA’s return to hockey plans. We had hoped to return to the ice next week. However, given the uncertainty of the current environment, we have decided to pause all OC sanctioned events - including practices - until Jan 10th. In addition, the Bytown Minor Hockey League (BMHL) is pausing games, with a hope to restart on Jan 17th.
The situation is changing by the moment, and we will continue to monitor provincial and local public health rules and recommendations. We will provide a further update by Jan 7th.
