Returning to hockey!!!
2022-01-24Practices resume Feb 1, games on Feb 6
Hi OCMHA Members
The Provincial Government and Ottawa Public Health will be re-opening arenas for hockey on Feb 1st. OCMHA will resume practices on Feb 1st, BMHL league games will start on Feb 6th.
With the disruption in the season, BMHL has decided to adjust our playoff plans this year. The regular season will run until the start of March break (March 9th). Teams will be divided into pools of 3 - 6 teams to play an elimination style playoff held on the last week in March (March 20 - March 26). BMHL playoffs will not have a round robin portion in the playoffs this year.
Coaches/Managers, the OYET in Support of CHEO Youth Mental Health is being held April 1-3 for U11, U13, U15 and U18, so please register as soon as possible if you are planning to participate.

We are working on a practice and game schedule, planning to publish in the next few days.
Screening and other protocols will continue to be followed and we will continue to seek guidance from Ottawa Public Health to adjustment where necessary.
