2022-02-18Parents - please read for important information about player and team photos.
Due to the anticipated police actions, the Sandy Hill Community Centre has been closed for the next few days.
The individual photos will now place in the Elmwood Hall at Jim Durrell, 1265 Walkley Road (Walkley and Peplinski Arenas). Timeslots remain 12:15 to 5pm.
If you missed your time on Feb 12, you can still have your photo taken this Saturday Feb 19.
Please make every effort to sign up during your team’s assigned time.If you are unable to attend during that time, please contact maria.m@mementos.photo. Individual accommodations MUST be made and confirmed in advance.
WHEN: February 12th & 19th – Time slot will depend on your team.
WHERE: Sandy Hill Community Centre (250 Rue Somerset St E, Ottawa, ON K1N 6V6).
IMPORTANT: Players must arrive full dressed. Skates can be tied at our station. Please bring your helmet and stick as they will be used in some of our poses.
Picture day is coming to the Ottawa Centre Minor Hockey Association and it will be a completely different experience this season.
REMINDERS:
- You must complete regular Covid screening, prior to arrival.
- MASKS must be worn at all times (with the exception of when the player is being photographed)
- Please limit to only ONE person accompanying the player.
- Players MUST arrive fully dressed, in their full hockey gear, wearing their RED jerseys. Don't forget your helmet, skates and stick.

We understand this is a year like no other, so we have implemented changes to bring players and their parents the best photographic experience while keeping everyone safe!
1. PAPERLESS ONLINE REGISTRATION
Registration and consent forms are filled out online before picture day.
NO PRE-PAYMENT OR PURCHASE IS NECESSARY
2. NO LONG LINES
Each player selects a time slot to avoid lineups.
3. ONLINE EXPERIENCE
Mementos Photography will send you a link to your personalized, online gallery and you only buy the photos if you love them.
4. WE OFFER CHOICE
We take at least 6 poses of each player, different facial expression and a variety of colours and custom designs for your association.

5. TEAM PHOTO
All players who have their individual photos taken will receive a FREE DIGITAL copy of their team photo. The traditional team photo will be replaced by a composite created from individual photos of all players, coaches and staff who participate in the photoshoot. Your participation is important as we can only create team photos if at least 85% of the team is photographed.
The free digital photo will be delivered to all participating players via email. (NOT PRINTED).
