AS THE PLAYOFFS APPROACH REMEMBER ITS ABOUT FUN AND FAIR PLAY

As the playoffs approach it is natural for the intensity of games and play to rise. This does not however mean the guiding BMHL principle of equal playing time should be passed over. Equal play rules are to be followed in regular season and the playoffs. Coaches are expected to make their best efforts to ensure that this is the case.

Teams who do not follow the fair play/ equal play rule will first be given a warning and observers will monitor games to ensure that fun and equal/fair play is being respected.
If a team continues to disregard the equal play/fair play rules further sanctions may result that could include  suspension of the coach and/or forfeiture of game.
