Cost and Payment Schedule

Save $5 when you use the coupon gosensgo before midnight on Mach 31, 2019!

Skaters: $125 (including HST)
Goaltenders: $50 (including HST)

Hockey Canada Insurance / Sanctioning Fee
This additional fee is only applicable to players who did NOT play in the Bytown Minor Hockey League this season (includes Ottawa East, South End, Ottawa Centre, Canterbury, West End) or any Hockey Canada sanctioned league during the 2018-19 season: Add $25 (please select at time of registration!)

Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) Sanctioning:

All Ottawa Youth Leagues are sanctioned under Hockey Canada through HEO (Hockey Eastern Ontario). All participants who played in a registered minor hockey association during 2018/19 are fully covered under this sanctioning. Any participant who did not play in a registered minor hockey association is required to purchase the HEO Sanctioning fee at the time of registration.

Girls who are currently registered players within the OWHA are already insured by Hockey Canada and therefore are not required to pay the additional HEO sanctioning fee. Only in the case where the participant has not been registered with either of the OWHA or the HEO would you be required to pay the fee.

OEMHA 4on4 Spring Hockey delivers an opportunity for all players to enjoy a challenging and exciting game of hockey.

A 4on4 format opens the ice to create a fast paced, unique style of hockey that is different from the regular season.

The 4 players per side gives the opportunity for kids to get creative and generates lots of breakaway action for goalies.

The format encourages players to develop their skating, passing, puck handling and shooting skills. Goalies see lots of shots too!

The 4on4 hockey from OEMHA focuses on “fun”damentals.

We have 144 player spots and 12 goalie spots for the 4on4 season.  We will be accepting registrations up until the spots are filled. We will then assign the players to hours based on the age and skill level they were in at the end of the season.

We will also be asking for friend requests to keep friends together as much as possible. We want all of the players to have fun and make sure the competition level is appropriate for all of the players.

Body checking is not permitted at any level.

Goaltenders who register for the OEHMA Spring 4on4 will pay only $50. This is a great opportunity to get more ice time and face more shots. Priority access to play bonus games to cover for goalie absences is at NO ADDITIONAL COST. 100% ice time guarantee (only one goalie will ever be accepted per team).

Format

All 4on4 games are run-time. Each game will consist of a 2 minute warm‐up followed by a 48 minute run-time game. Line changes occur every 90 seconds. A buzzer will sound to announce the change.

League Balancing:

League convenors will use information provided during registration (level played during the 2018-19 season) to create teams of equal skill level at the start of the season. During each session, each team will be evaluated by league coordinators and staff. Balancing moves will be made in order to ensure all teams are as equal as possible.

We are currently looking for League convenors, if you are interested and like the idea of a free registration please contact 4on4@oemha.ca
