Returning to the ice...

Hi OCMHA Parents - I hope that you are staying safe and healthy. Although we are not back on the ice yet, and the province has not confirmed when we will re-open, it seems there is a possibility that rinks will re-open on feb 11th. It is not clear if it will re-open to 10 people on the ice or 25, regardless, we will return to the ice when the rinks re-open.
Prior to Christmas, we had completed approximately 7 weeks of the 10-week fall program. given the uncertainty of 10 or 25 players on the ice, we are unable to confirm an ice time schedule at this time. Schedules will be provided as we receive more details on re-opening restrictions.
Beyond the remainder of the fall session, we plan to offer an extension of the program to the end of march (including march break). There will be a new registration process posted on the web site for the extension of the session later in February.
Given the shorter season this year, some parents have expressed an interest in a 4 on 4 spring program running in April/May. We are hoping to run a 4 on 4 spring program to the end of April. The spring 4 on 4 program would be 1 hr / week. If you are interested in playing 4 on 4, please fill out this survey This is an expression of interest only, there will be a follow up registration.
Of course, all programs a dependant on available ice as well as Provincial, OPH and city guidelines, protocols and restrictions.
