Goalie Equipment Rule - Danglers

Please review and forward to your goalie parents.
Bytown District has clarified its expectations regarding the requirement for goalies to wear danglers. In a nutshell, all goalies in U13 and below are required to wear a dangler, and will not be permitted to play unless they have one. For goalies in U15 and above, Bytown is strongly recommending that goalies wear them as well, but will allow an exception for goalies with the new style elongated masks in those age categories. If they don't have that type of mask, the dangler remains mandatory.
In addition to the dangler, it is also encouraged that regular goalies wear the neck guards designed for goalies.
Referees will start enforcing the dangler rule at the beginning of next week.
