Important:

Do not register using these instructions if your child is trying out for competitive hockey. You may register here only if your child:

• Does not intend to try out for competitive hockey, or

• Has been released from all competitive teams, or

• Has officially withdrawn from the competitive tryout process.

Players released from competitive tryouts will be fairly assessed and placed on the appropriate team. Final rosters are set only after all competitive releases are complete.

First Time Players:

If your child has never played organized hockey, please confirm that your residence is within the OCMHA catchment area before registering.
First time registrants must provide:

• Date of birth (scan of birth certificate or equivalent)

• Place of residence (scan of utility bill or equivalent)

• Parent(s) name(s), phone number, email, and an emergency contact

This information is used to verify OCMHA as your home association.

Transferring Players:

If your child previously played minor hockey outside the OCMHA, contact registrar@ocmha.ca to begin the transfer process before registering.

Merger with Ottawa East:

As previously announced, we will merge with Ottawa East this season to form the Ottawa North Minor Hockey Association. We are excited to start this new chapter together! For more details about the merger, please see our merger announcement.

Respect in Sport for Parents:

At least one parent per household must complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program before their child can play. Once certified, you will not need to retake it, regardless of how many children you have enrolled in hockey. You will, however, need to add any new registrants to your certificate.

Withdrawals and Refunds:

If your child cannot complete the season, a partial refund may be available. All refund requests must be made in writing to registrar@ocmha.ca.
